Alysa did a two week board and train with our 7 month old heeler mix puppy. The only command he knew going in was sit. Two weeks later he can stay in his place, heel on a leash, come when called, stay put when told, leave things/people/other dogs alone when instructed and is just generally more polite and in tune with his people. Alysa did a great job of humoring me in the beginning when I had trouble “letting go” and missing him. She sent updates any time I asked as well as posted Facebook and YouTube updates. This is great not only for in the moment but also to look back at if we ever need a refresher. The two week board and train came with a “check-in lesson” during his stay (which was mind blowing to see the progress) another lesson when he came home and another to have in my back pocket incase anything go sideways (due to my doing). Alysa is personable and friendly but above all she loves dogs and she loves what she does.

Alysa was recommended through our local Feed Store. We have a St Bernard puppy that was taking us for walks and trying to chase everyone and everything that came by. It was all I could do to keep him from literally dragging me down the street. After just one session with Alysa we saw improvement. A few more sessions and I can walk with his leash hanging loose without fear of being dragged away. We highly recommend her for training and boarding of your well-behaved and not so well-behaved dogs.

Alysa is amazing, we highly recommend her and her talents to anyone who is in need of a great dog trainer who is passionate and caring for dogs. Our dog Lily has always been an anxious dog and with little ones in our house and her progressing arthritis, she was getting aggressive towards our other dog, Riley. It worried us and Alysa knew just how to help by talking us through a training program, what she recommended and how to best proceed. She also did a wonderful job bringing us along the entire way. Lily is now home and doing so well, and we are following Alysa's guidance to continue to help Lily make progress and learn to control her excitement and just be the sweet dog we know she is. We will have Riley go through some training with her as well later this year too! Thank you, Alysa!

We hired Alysa to help us with our new puppy. This is our first experience with a dog trainer and we were very happy to find her. We needed someone that could help teach our family with 5 kids and she was so great with all of us. Alysa was very confident and adjusted her plan to our needs as we went through the lessons. We are very thankful for her help and look forward to using her again.

Alysa is amazing! I had my 3.5 yr old rescue, border collie/golden retriever boarded and trained with her for two weeks. Before boarding, I struggled with training my dog (LB)--walking correctly on a leash, barking, being food motivated, staying in her bed, or running to the front door. Alysa is easy and fun to work with; she does an incredible job with training and works with you to accomplish the goals that you are working towards with your dog. She significantly improved my dogs' obedience; for example, LB now understands "heel" and can walk by my little sister (11yrs) without pulling. She now lays/stays in her bed when asked, even when there are major distractions. Her unnecessary barking at everyone walking by is now nearly non-existent. In addition, she taught me how to continue training so my dog would keep up the skills they learned.

Oh my god. What can I say. WOW!!! I reached out to Alyssa with my 1 year old German shepherd half husky mix. His name is Thanos. I been to 3 trainers and non of those 3 trainers did what Alyssa did. Alyssa didn’t let this 180 pound dog intimidate her. Thanos was leash and people and dog reactive. Now he isn’t. We’re still working with him but I am super happy with my results. I use to only Take Thanos on walks at night like 11 pm. Now I take him during the day. I love how Alyssa still keeps in contact with you even after the boarding session. And she comes over or you meet somewhere and she still helps me with Thanos. If I have any questions I can ask her and I don’t have to be worried about annoying her because she genuinely loves dogs and she won’t leave you on your own. 100% would recommend you giving her a chance. They told me to put Thanos down because of how reactive he is but thanks to Alyssa, Thanos get to be with me for a long time! Thank you Alyssa!!!!

Alysa had my 3-year-old pup for a week while I went out of town. She did some training with him around walking on a leash and not jumping on anyone that walks into the room. She was great! Sent me updates on his progress, photos of him playing, and showed me how to keep up with the progress he made while with her. I highly recommend Alyssa with Crimson Dog Ranch.

Just had my amstaff trained by them and I was amazed by the turnout. She went from being super hyper and lunging at people when walking her to being able to have control over her and no more pulling of the leash. She's very calm and obedient and super exited for the turnout. Thank you crimson dog ranch

I reached out to Alyssa for help with a one-year old mixed breed we adopted that became aggressive and dangerous when she turned 8 months old. Alyssa spent time carefully assessing our situation and creating a training plan to meet our needs. She is incredibly skilled and experienced and helped us find hope in keeping our dog. I would recommend her to any dog owner looking for help.

My girlfriend and I came to Crimson Dog Ranch and Alysa seeking major support with our energetic, dog reactive, car reactive, ball obsessed dog Daisy. We boarded and trained Daisy for 30 days with Alysa and had no idea what to expect. 30 days later we got a very well behaved, controlled dog with the same personality back to us. We’re now able to walk Daisy passed other dogs, and understand her triggers better. Alysa showed us how to utilize tools that were given to us in order to best support and help us throughout our journey. Alysa gave us confidence and Daisy confidence. She is so knowledgeable and continues to answer texts/calls a few months after training. Highly recommend Alysa and Crimson Dog Ranch.

I have boarded my dog with Alyssa for training and she's come to my home for continued training. I have been so happy with my pups progress. She is wise beyond her years when it comes to understanding dog behavior and training both the dog and the owner. She's taken the time to observe and guide my behaviors for better training. After each training I am provided detailed practice instructions and a tracking log. Her sessions are very customized to the dog AND owner. She even brings distractions (her dogs and ferret) for training as needed!

Alysa helped me with my rescue dog who had aggression problems towards people and other dogs. After he bit several people, including me, I knew I didn't have the tools to help him, and got a recommendation to talk to Alysa. Gizmo spent 3 weeks with Alysa learning to calm down, focus his energy, and most importantly learning he could trust someone to advocate for him. After his first board and train session Alysa worked with me to understand what I needed to do to keep him on the upward path. Gizmo goes back to Alysa when I'm travelling for tune ups and cuddle time. She is one if his favorite people. With Alysa's help, Gizmo has gone from a dog that I was constantly on guard with, to an obedient, reasonably calm dog, who goes for walks without much drama, meets people who are willing to let him take his time, and engages with many doggie, and human friends.

Alysa has been helping me with my rescue dog from the start. I adopted a rescue dog that had many social issues due to being abandoned at an early age and living in a dog rescue for two and a half years. My dog Kate could not be around men, other dogs, and especially not cats. Kate could also not go on a walk with me without pulling me the entire time. Working with Alysa on Kate's issues was the best thing I could have done for Kate. Alysa is truly a dog whisperer!!! Kate now is wonderful to take on a walk, she can now be around other dogs (at least in the sense that she really doesn't want anything to do with them, but that's Kate's preference). There was a time when I thought I might have to return Kate to the shelter, because I didn't think I could handle her and give her what she needed. I'm so happy that I found a trainer that has the patience, the kindness, and especially the knowledge on how to train Kate, and me so Kate and I can have the best relationship we can possibly have.

A bulldog and a boxer, barely two years old and both rescues. We wondered, "What the #*!!were we thinking?" At our wit's (and patience) end, we happened upon Alysa and the Crimson Dog Ranch. Within 24 hours, she had them walking obediently by her side, and within days, making visits to various remote locations--Petco or a dogpark, for instance. This began with a home visit, something she has done on several occasions, to get the lay of the land and see what our needs might be, specifically. Her training is for owners and pets alike. She has made numerous follow-ups and given us "refreshers" as needed, and our boys both love her. They are not perfect (this is largely on us), so the follow-ups have been very helpful. More than once we've visited a park together with Alysa as part of her service, and several times she's brought another dog with her to add in a distraction. These two are a challenging pair, and we're so grateful to have found a dog whisperer.

I am so impressed with Alysa, she is incredibly knowledgable about dogs and training. She is professional and practical, and is wonderful with my pittie mix who can be stubborn but is so willing to learn. Alysa has done wonders working with my pup to train her to behave better around other people and dogs, and most importantly, training _me_ on how best to work with and keep training my dog so that we understand each other. Alysa is so patient and provides clear instructions, and makes you feel very comfortable with training and working with your dog. She's awesome, I highly recommend her!
